Good Morning Folks!
Another football weekend coming up, offering us great football games and lots of fun. I hope you have stacked that six pack of beer somewhere and you are ready to enjoy it in front of the TV today
.It’s a rainy cold and foggy Saturday, so if you feel that the weather is not for men to be outside, you got it right. It’s the perfect day to sit home, relax, grab a beer and a snack, sit around the TV and watch the games today.
Since I am a big fan of Barclays Premier League I will discuss the games that are played today on the island. There’s no doubt that this is the number one league right now in Europe and most of the attention is there. It’s not surprising either, since billions of dollars got spent on players and now almost every team has few major football stars playing for them.
There are few good betting promotions from SportingBet.com which I will discuss right after the few games I talk about.
So let’s start with probably one of the most anticipated games today Arsenal v Tottenham. Now these two team have a long history, and most of the times they have ended up draw. In fact their last two games ended up draw, so both teams will probably try to break the ice here and get out of this game something more from a point. With Arsenal standing third and Tottenham standing 4th but with a game more, both teams would want points. If you had the time, you probably watched Arsenal’s reserves play Liverpool on Wednesday, and they played awesome. Tottenham is really doing great this year, but I don’t think they perform well versus the top 4 teams in the league. My pick would be a home victory for Arsenal. Final score: 3:0
Second game on the list is Sunderland v West Ham. Sunderland is doing OK this season. Their victory over Liverpool probably boosted their self-esteem a lot. West Ham on the other side is doing poorly. They are second to the last as for now. Both teams need points, but if Sunderland shows half of the game they played versus Liverpool they will walk out with the 3 points. My pick would be a home win for Sunderland. Final score 2:2
Next on my list are Everton v Aston Villa. Aston Villa so far is doing great. They managed to beat Chelsea and tied with Man. City. These are pretty good achievements versus such teams. Everton on the other hand has 0 wins in their last 5 games. I am sure they will try to change that and Villa will give their best. Both teams have a long history with a lot of draws and wins for both sides. Today thought I think Villa will dominate and show their great shape this season. My pick would be an away victory for Villa. Final Score 1:1
Next are Fulham v Liverpool. Now this should be a very interesting game. I seriously don’t know what to think anymore, with Liverpool having 5 losses already and playing well one game, and then sucking badly the other.Fullham is doing great so far 3 draws and 2 wins in the last 5 games. My pick for this game would be a draw, although I know Liverpool needs points and can’t afford such a slip, I don’t think they can manage that. Final Score 3:1
*Sigh* yet another loss.
Last but no least on my list is the game between Birmingham v Manchester City. Man City going strong this year with their new offensive line and so far doing great.Birmingham so far are 15th and aren’t doing so well. The last time these two teams played Birmingham won with 3:1. Pretty sure Man City would want a “revenge” for that and will come out victorious today with the three points. My pick an away victory for City. Final score: 0:0
Now for the SportingBet.com bonuses I was talking about. Here they are quoted from their website:
