How much is enough money for a Football/soccer manager?

Hello Everyone!
After today’s game in Barclays premier league, most European leagues will rest for a while. However Barclays Premier League have a round right after Christmas on the 26th/27th, so it won’t be too long until we can enjoy another great set of games. First things are first, Chelsea didn’t manage to increase their lead with 6 points but just 4, after they tied that away game yesterday. It’s been two rounds now, where some of the major teams fail to win.
A lot of money are invested in such teams, but just how important are money for each player, coach, manager? I heard something on the news today that made me think, that today’s players and managers are pretty ungrateful for what they get, and they all take themselves so seriously! So here’s the thing, Mark Hughes will receive around 7,000,000 GBP as a compensation, since his contract was valid for another 18 months. And his response was, that he wasn’t happy about it?
What the hell, really? Now I don’t know how expensive one’s life can be, but 7,000,000 pounds is still darn a lot! And you won’t really do anything for that money, you will just collect them, and then go home! And when you have in mind that he spent around 115,000,000 GBP on transfers and City had like what 4-5 wins and 9-10 draw games I am pretty sure he should just keep quiet, get his money and walk away.
So seriously guys, have money taken over this precious game? Have the players and the managers become absolutely ignorant and ungrateful for what they get? How can everyone be talking about recession, people going outta work, and then you get fired, BUT you get the whopping 7,000,000 GBP and you still feel miserable cause it seems just not enough!
