Bundesliga Resumes!

First games from the German Bundesliga 1 and Bundesliga 2 today, after a long break! As far as I can recall their last games were on 12.19.09 so that’s over a month. Great games for every sports betting fan,tipster,or professional bettor since after the break on the first games a lot of surprises happen, great odds come out right!

Although there are just a few games today, we can make the best out of them! First let’s look at the matches I have picked:

Let’s look at the only Bundesliga 1 game for tonight Bayern Munich v Hoffenheim! First of all Hoffenheim, hasn’t been that long in the Bundesliga 1 but made a brilliant start last year! They have played 3 games total with Bayern Munich, tied both at home and lost one away. Bayern isn’t in top shape this year, sitting on the 3rd spot, and almost missed to qualify out of the Champion’s League groups.

Although they are a strong host beating almost any visiting team, and drawing with the leader Leverkusen, Hoffenheim is not to be underestimated. Currently they are taking the 7th spot, 8 points behind Bayern. They are doing well this season and were able to get a point in an away game with the 4th in the table Hamburger tying 0:0.

Personally I am always a risk taker and would go with the draw here! The odds vary from 4.00 to 4.50 which makes it perfect to bet on, as starter game after such a long break.

Next on my list is the first game from Bundesliga 2 for today Aachen v Karlsruhe.These two teams have quite a history. Although Aachen are sitting lower in the table, they haven’t lost any of their home games from 2000 till now versus Karlsruhe. They have played 6 games, 5 wins and one tie. Overall both teams have played 12 times since year 2000, 8 wins for Aachen 2 ties and 2 losses.

So without any doubts I would go with the statistics here and bet on a home victory for Aachen with odds varying from 2.00 to 2.25!

My last game on the list would be the match between Paderborn v Fortuna Dusseldorf. Fortuna doing great this year, being 4th so far and having a chance to be playing in Bundesliga 1 if they keep up the good work. Paderborn are on the 9th spot and are a strong host. They managed to beat the 2nd in the table St.Pauli at home just before the holidays.

My pick for this game would be a draw between the two since out of 7 games between the two they have 4 ties, and they haven’t had one since 2008. The odds vary from 3.00 to 3.50 so I think it’s a good risk/reward ratio.
