They have already played Dortmund in the opening game of the group and came away with a well-deserved 1-1 draw from Germany. On Wednesday night they will be looking to go one better and take all three points from the German club.
Dortmund currently sit third in the group after taking four points from as many games. The campaign has been a disappointment so far as they have lost to both Marseille and Olympiakos in heavy defeats, shipping six goals. They will need a big performance at the Emirates or they will suffer a similar defeat.
Dortmund’s domestic form has been much better and they are second in the Bundesliga just 2 points behind Bayern Munich. They got a great win at the weekend when they defeated the league leaders 1-0 away from home. If they can carry that form into their European tie they should give Arsenal a very good game on Wednesday.
Prediction
This one should be tight from the start as neither side will want to give away much too early. The Germans are likely to sit back and defend but Arsenal should be able to find the breakthrough in the second-half.
