Great game between Barcelona and Real Madrid last night (August 17th 2011). After a 2:2 on Bernabeu, Real Madrid needed to score 2 goals on Camp Nou, to get to at least extra time. By the 82nd minute, when the score was again 2:2 everything looked like as there is going to be extra time and hopefully penalties, but brilliant Lionel Messi put an end to Real’s hopes in the 87th minute.
A harsh tackle from Marcelo on Fabregas in the 93rd minute heated up the atmosphere and a fight broke up. If you by any chance have missed it, here it is:
A deserved red card, and I wasn’t really sure why Real Madrid’s players protested so much, it was obviously an unnecessary tackle.
