English Premier League Weekend Round

Good morning betting fans in a somewhat cold and rainy Sunday.

Great games last night, some very interesting scores where achieved.

Chelsea’s message before the games with United was pretty clear last night.

A whopping victory over one of the teams fighting for the top 4 with the score of 7:1.

I tell you it’s not every day that you see Aston Villa, getting defeated with such a score.

In the same time United won over Bolton, without Rooney, but you could see that the team is struggling without their top scorer in the first half.

I was expecting some of the two teams involved in Champions League to slip yesterday, unluckily for Arsenal it was them tying with Birmingham 1:1.

We only have two games today, but still good enough:

Burnley v Blackburn 28/03/2010 12:00 BST
Liverpool v Sunderland 28/03/2010 16:00 BST

Burnley v Blackburn: What can we say here, both teams have played only one game in Premiership ending 3:2 for Blackburn earlier this season. Now it’s Burnley’s turn to try to get the 3 points. In fact if they are able to get a win today, and perhaps until the end of the season another one, they might be able to get away from the red zone.

However the team’s away record is really hurting with still 0 victories as a guest. Home record of 6 wins 5 draws and 4 losses shows that they are doing quite well at home, although they lost 2 out of the last 3 home games.

Blackburn has lost all of their last 3 visits. Away record of 1 victory 3 draws and 11 losses, pretty much says it all. I expect Burnley to go here for the 3 points. My prediction would be a home victory for Burnley @ 2.92 at Betfair.

Liverpool v Sunderland: Perhaps we all remember the balloon goal that occurred in the first game, where Liverpool lost with 0:1. Despite the team’s bad shape this season, their home performance is really something different. Home record of 11 wins 2 draws and 2 losses.

Can’t say the same about Sunderland, away record of only 1 win 4 draws and 10 losses. The obvious bet that everyone would wanna take is a home victory for Liverpool, however the odds are around 1.32 in Betfair, which isn’t good enough in my opinion.

My prediction would be Under 2.5 Goals, because out of the last 15 games, 13 have finished Under 2.5 goals, which seems pretty common thing when those two play. Odds at 2.24 in Betfair.

Another good bet might be “Both Team Are Not Going To Score” since the last 7 games between the two have ended with only 1 side scoring. Odds at 1.81 in Betfair.
