The team sits on the second spot at the moment with 8 points, tied with Albania, but with a better goal difference. However their task to keep the second place will not be easy. Belarus has still to play two games against Bosnia and Herzegovina, a visit against Romania, and a home game against Luxembourg.
Prediction
Belarus lost their most recently friendly match to Canada with 0:1, and their most recent tournament match against Albania, while France drew their most recent friendly match against Croatia and won their most recent tournament game against Luxembourg. Clearly the French team is in a better condition at the moment than their opponents and are the favorite for this match.
