The five time champion Brazil, will meet the second team from Group H Chile.

Brazil easily got out of the group of death, after winning with 2:1 against North Korea, a 3:1 against Ivory Coast and a goalless draw against Portugal. Dunga has gotten a brilliant squad, and after winning the World Cup in 94 as a player it’s now his turn to win it as a coach.

Chile on the other hand, in a quite difficult group as well, was able to easily qualify in a way since they were able to beat Switzerland, and Honduras, and only tripped on Spain in the last game. It’s a bit misfortune to meet Brazil in the round of 16 as this is quite a hard obstacle to pass by.

Brazil has only been eliminated once on Round of 16 in 1990 against Argentina with 0:1. The team has been able to qualify for the World Cup finals every single time and has won the cup on all continents but Africa, just because this is the first World Cup in Africa.

What’s to expect from this game?

Without trying to underestimate Chile, I expect Brazil to dominate most of the game. Since this is the round of 16, both teams will start offensive squads, looking for the early goal.

I expect the favorite here Brazil to take theirs and advance.

The Betting Verdict?

Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.95 (Bet365.com): In the spirit of the Round of 16 all games for now, as I mentioned in my previous preview have ended Over 2.5 Goals. In the same time all Brazil games, that have been important for them, have also ended Over 2.5 Goals. Seems logical to stake good money on this bet as it will yield a good profit.
