Disappointing games tonight. Europa League was quite boring and uninteresting with only 1 goal in both games.

Although Bundesliga 1 & 2 aren’t that fun either, they are quite good for making some money off them. Why?

Because my observations are that German games are very predictable, especially on Fridays.

What’s even more convenient is that there are always 4 games on Friday, 1 from Bundesliga and 3 from Bundesliga 2 and that’s about it.

So what makes these games that special? It’s easier to focus on 4 games than on a lot more on the weekend.

Here’s what we have tomorrow:

Bochum v VfB Stuttgart 23/04/2010 19:30 BST

Kaiserslautern v Hansa Rostock 23/04/2010 17:00 BST
St.Pauli v Koblenz 23/04/2010 17:00 BST
Karlsruhe v RW Ahlen 23/04/2010 17:00 BST

Bochum v VfB Stuttgart: With few rounds left ’till the end, Stuttgart still has a chance to get in the spots for Champions League, after what can be called a disappointing season. Stuttgart on the 6th place with 50 points, just 4 points away from the 4th needs a victory against the horrible at home Bochum.

Bochum, is in danger of getting in the red zone, and dropping out in Bundesliga 2. Their home record is 2 wins 6 draws and 7 losses , compared to Stuttgart’s 6 wins 4 draws and 5 losses, makes Stuttgart the favorite here.

The last time Bochum won against Stuttgart was in 2005 with the score of 2:0. Since then they have a tie and 3 losses out of 4 games. Personally I think Stuttgart will win this one moving closer to the top spots, keeping their chance to get in Champions League next year.

Prediction: “Away win Stuttgart”    Odds: 1.85    Bookmaker: Betfair.com

Kaiserslautern v Hansa Rostock: The leader in Bundesliga2 with 7 points ahead of the 2nd one, has a comfortable lead and will play next year in the Bundesliga. With an outstanding record of 10 wins 4 draws and only 1 loss Kaiserslautern is the total favorite.

Hansa Rostock in the red zone, with an away record of 2 wins 3 wins and 10 losses, however is always very competitive when it comes to direct games. Just take a look at the past scores where Hansa has totally crushed the leaders at the moment: 5:1 in 2009, 2:0 in 2006, 4:0 in 2003.

Looks like the derby is always full of goals so I would count on that as well tomorrow, with a victory for Kaiserslautern.

Prediction: “Kaiserslautern home victory”    Odds: 1.46    Bookmaker: Betfair.com

St.Pauli v Koblenz: The second in the league is playing again one of the teams in the red zone. St.Pauli with a home record of 9 wins 4 draws and 2 losses will most likely play in Bundesliga as well next year.

Koblenz on the other hand is in the red zone, and will probably moved down to Bundesliga 3 next year. St. Pauli has achieved 3 victories out of 3 home games against Koblenz and there’s no reason why this shouldn’t happen again.

Last 3 home games for them have been pretty good and they have won all 3. Koblenz on the other hand has won only 1 from the past 5 away games. Away record of 2 wins 3 draws and 10 losses also speaks for itself.

Prediction: “St.Pauli home win”    Odds: 1.43    Bookmaker: Betfair.com

Karlsruhe v RW Ahlen: The battle of the lower part of the table! While there’s almost no chance for RW Ahlen to save themselves from going to Bundesliga 3, Karlsruhe, can still manage to get a bigger distance from the red zone and be confident that they will play next year in Bundesliga 2.

Home record of 6 wins 3 draws and 6 losses, shows that they are quite unconvincing at home, when it comes to winning. Ahlen are holding a good away record, considering that they are the last team in the table, 3 wins 4 draws and 8 losses.

Nine out of the 11 times both teams have played, both teams have scored as well. So think about that sports bet for a while. Nine out of those 11 games have ended over 2.5 goals as well.

So in teams of football betting, a good bet for this game would be Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score, or go with both.

Prediction: “Both Teams To Score”    Odds: 1.90    Bookmaker: Bet365.com
