The most anticipated game for Sunday, and perhaps for the whole Premier League rounds is here, Chelsea v Manchester City.

The team won their most recent game against Manchester United with 2:1, but lost the one before against Liverpool. Chelsea hasn’t won back to back Premier league game since November 2010.
Manchester City are currently 3rd with 53 points in 29 games, an away record of W6 D4 L4, scoring 22 goals and conceding 14. The team was eliminated from Europa League by Dynamo Kiev this Thursday, so they would like to bounce back with a victory here. Let’s not forget that last season, City did achieve a victory here with 2:4.

This is a direct battle for the third place, as if City loses this game, they would be still with a game ahead of Chelsea, but a point behind. Chelsea, has been drawn to face Manchester United in the Champions League, but these games are still few weeks away, so they can mostly focus on the league.
A possible victory for Chelsea, will bring them only to 6 points behind United, giving them hopes that they can win the title this year after all.

However Mancini’s team at least from my point of view cannot be called a team still, more like fine individuals at the moment “fighting” for a place in the team.
