Greetings fellow football gamblers, it’s time for what can be called “the judgment day”.
At the end of tonight we will know two of the semi-finalist for the Champions League.
I know that perhaps the majority of the people out there are expecting Inter and Barcelona to advance, but we are about to see.
Excellent day to make some money, so let’s get down to my betting analysis and predictions:
CSKA Moscow v Inter 06/04/2010 17:30 BST
Barcelona v Arsenal 06/04/2010 19:45 BST
CSKA Moscow v Inter: A lot of comments about this game, a lot of betting expert opinions and all in favor of Inter. Well to tell you the truth I disagree.
By watching the first game, it came clear to me that Inter had troubles at home scoring, and guess what I don’t expect anything different tonight.
Looking for a goal CSKA will go probably for it from the 1st minute, as well as Inter who would be looking also for an early goal to kill the suspense in the game.
Two of the starters for CSKA Moscow will be missing, because of yellow cards, but this shouldn’t be that much of a problem for them.
So far in the direct games CSKA has no victories over Inter, and in 2008 they lost at home with 1:2. Since this is expected to be an open game, with both teams looking for the goal, I think we should expect at least each teams scoring once.
Prediction: “Both Teams To Score” Odds: 1.94 Bookmaker: Betfair.com
Barcelona v Arsenal: After the first game and the surprising draw result at the end, Barcelona will have to once again prove themselves on Camp Nou. After the game Theo Walcott gave an interview, where he said he felt, he was like in a computer game, because Barcelona’s control of the ball was incredible and the accuracy of the passes unbelievable.
The biggest loss for Arsenal is probably Cesc Fabregas who’s injured and will miss the game. All eyes are now at Walcott, who changed the Gunner’s game after getting in the game as a substitute. However my opinion is that the only one responsible for the draw was the team of Barcelona itself. They felt confident with the lead of 0:2 and decided to take the game in their half, which played them quite a stunt.
I am pretty sure they learned from their mistake. A logical bet here would be a home victory but the odds are incredibly low (1.36 as of now) and almost not worth playing.
Since we saw 4 goals in the first leg and both teams were able to score, I think it’s quite logical to be looking for the same thing here. Barcelona will play probably as well as they did against Stuttgart at home, so I am expecting a goal show tonight.
Prediction: “Over 3.5 Goals” Odds: 2.36 Bookmaker: Betfair.com
All odds are as of 12:00 BST, so make sure you get on your bookmaker and bet on now. Not happy with your current bookmaker? Register in any of the recommended ones below:
