Good morning Folks!
A lovely sunny Saturday and lots of games to bet on today. A lot of interesting ones again, and as usual I will focus to analyze Barclays Premier League, and depending on the games I might make my picks based on that or just go with two or three other games with great odds.
For the past three days I have been picking two games per day only with odds around 2.5 – 3.0 and have been getting at least one right, so make sure you check out the daily picks page, today as well.
Let’s not waste time and get into the games. The first game I want to discuss today is: Wigan v Sunderland 28/11/2009 15:00 GMT. Please note, that I will rarely discuss games like today’s Man. United game since the odds for United’s win are very low, so low that are not worth playing.
So as I was saying we are going to look over Wigan and Sunderland since the odds are good to bet on. Looking over the statistics seems like Wigan has advantage since they have tied 4, and won 5 games and lost only 2. However you do remember the last game vs Tottenham when they got “run over” with 9:1. I think they still might be in “shock”, such a result can leave deep memories for long enough. Wigan are also not doing great this year, they are currently on the 16th place. They did win against Chelsea, but that was it.
On the other hand Sunderland played really well against Liverpool and won with the balloon goal. Last week they even beat Arsenal at home. Their Away stats though are horrible, 1 tie and the rest is losses. My pick would be a home victory for Wigan, based on their good home statistic and on the horrible away performance of Sunderland.
The second game I will look over is surely the more interesting and anticipated one. Aston Villa vs. Tottenham. From the statistic you can see that these two love to end up draw but haven’t done it in years. The last three games have been 1-2,2-1,1-2 and one of the teams gets the victory just with a goal away. Both team seem equally good this year with Tottenham being 4th and Villa 5th.
Four draw games when Villa has been playing home, 3 wins and 3 losses. My pick for this game would be a tie game. I doubt two teams in great shape will risk the points and go for the full attack.
I find the rest of the games kind of obvious, although surprises can happen, but the risk seems to high to play them. Be sure you check my Daily Picks page for my picks.
Thanks for reading, good luck betting today and have a great day.
