It’s pretty rainy and cold outside. A perfect weather to sit home and watch football games as well as bet on few 
. Finally after the long break because of the world cup qualifications the top European leagues resume. A lot of games today to choose from in England, Spain, Germany,Italy,France.
Without questions the game of today is Aston Villa v Chelsea, which should be pretty interesting. The statistics show that out of 23 games Chelsea has won 10, lost 5 and ended up draw 8 times. What’s more interesting is that Chelsea only won twice as the Away team.Both teams are in great shape, however I think Chelsea is the more coordinated team that will prevail tonight.
Another match from the Premiere league is Sunderland v Liverpool. After the horrible start I wonder if Liverpool is up for the challenge again. The statistics are in their favor 9 victories in 14 games, one loss and 4 draws. In the past 4 years Liverpool has won all games.Liverpool has already lost enough games to afford to loose more points. I think and hope they will show what they are capable today.
An interesting match from the Spanish Primiera Division would be Deportivo La Coruna v Sevilla. Sevilla is currently second and in great shape. They have won all four games versus Deportivo this year. I think today would be no exception and Sevilla will take theirs.
Valencia v Barcelona also turns out to be an interesting match. The odds for Barcelona aren’t that great but 1.6 is a real nice number when the best team in the world is playing. I am not really a Barca fan, but they have shown that they are in awesome shape and can beat just about anybody. The last game between these two teams ended 2:2. Pretty tough to predict and outcome, perhaps a second draw?
The Bundesliga offers quality games today as well. Probably most anticipated one would be VfB Stuttgart v Schalke 04. Stuttgart has won the last three games, but they started the season pretty bad. On the other hand Schalke started out great and if they come out victorious today will be closer to the 2nd place in the fixture.
Italy offers only two games today but they are very very interesting Juventus v Fiorentina and Genoa v Inter. Since 1999 Fiorentina has only 1 victory over Juventus a lot of losses and around 8 draws. Can Fiorentina do it this time? After the victory vs Liverpool their self-esteem is sure boosted. Juventus on the other hand ended draw with Bayern and lost from Palermo last round.I personally see this game as a draw or away victory for Fiorentina. Genoa and Inter has played 5 times, 3 wins for Inter and 2 draws. Inter has won twice already this year, and I think it will be no problem to do it again today.
I am not a fan of the french league but an interesting game might be Auxerre v Bordeaux. Bordeaux has won all games in the last two years and hasn’t lost vs Auxerre since 2005. The season started out great for the Away team, excluding this last round loss from Saint Etienne. Auxerre can’t complain either, they haven’t lost in 4 games. I am pretty much for an away victory for Bordeaux.

P.S 23:46 Waiting on Valencia and Barcelona to end. I am pretty happy with my picks today. A little bit surprised with Aston Villa beating Chelsea and quite disappointed in yet another loss from Liverpool. But besides that the X on Juventus and the 2 on Schalke have made my days. Good night guys!
