In an international friendly game, Denmark will face England.
In the previous friendlies last year, both teams did not make a very good impression Denmark drew with the Czech Republic 0:0, while England lost at home to France with the score of 1:2.
Capello will make enough changes since the game with France to make sure his team does better this time. It’s confirmed that Jack Wilshere will be a starter for this game, as well as Wayne Rooney and Darren Bent. However the team will have to go out without captain Rio Ferdinand, who got injured before Manchester United’s game with the Wolves, and without Steven Gerrard who got some sort of injury during the game with Chelsea. Peter Crouch and Ben Foster failed the physical tests, while Gabriel Agbonlahor left the squad because of personal problems.
Denmark will go out with Nicklas Bendtner who hasn’t played for the team since World Cup 2010. Anders Lindegaard, the goalkeeper Manchester United bought is also included in the team. In an interview Bendtner has confirmed that his team has no reason to be afraid of England. In fact he added that while the English team has always been capable of winning everything, never got anything.

In the direct games between both teams, stands out another international friendly game played back in 2005 where Denmark crushed the English side with 4:1. In 2003 England met Denmark at home and lost again with 2:3. Even though both of the last international games between these two teams have been won by Denmark, Wayne Rooney has been able to score in both.
The odds for Rooney to score in this game as well are 2.60.
While England is a big name, I am willing to back Denmark in this game. First the odds are higher, second England has been disappointing lately and were totally outplayed by France in their last friendly. Denmark has been unbeaten since their elimination from the World Cup, and shows good performance.
