A friendly game on Wembley between England and Ghana.
After a great game on Saturday, against Wales, England retook once again what was considered to be theirs since the beginning of the Euro 2012 Qualifications, the top spot in the group.
For the game with Ghana, Capello has made a good amount of changes in the starting team. John Terry, the captain of the English team will not be there, instead Gareth Barry will lead. Ashley Young and Darren Bent might also be missing since, Capello confirmed “Carroll will start and Jagielka will start, along with Baines at left-back too”.
Capello has said that he expects and interesting game, and hopes that his players will put enough effort to win the game and please the fans.
Ghana was the youngest team on the WC 2010, but a team with great potential, missing nearly the semi-finals. Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari have admitted that they dream to be the first Africans to beat England here. Both teams have never met before, but England hasn’t lost an African team in 17 meetings. Ghana played on Sunday against Congo, a game from the CAF Qualifiers and won the game with 3:0.

However the English team has won only 2 of the last 5 home games, which could be considered a bit disturbing. Ghana in the same time will be tired from playing a game on Sunday and then flying to England on Tuesday.
Also starters for England will be eager to impress, proving that they deserve a spot in the team. Still remains the question whether that team will have the necessary synchronization to achieve a victory here.
While this is a friendly game and the outcome of such games are always a mystery, I will back the English team here. Without doubt Capello and his team would want to get another victory at home, to release the pressure that was on them in the past months after few friendly losses and disappointing draw against Montenegro on Wembley.
