A snowy and cold Tuesday here, but hopefully we will get watch some quality games tonight. We have a game from the Barclays Premier League between Hull City and Chelsea as well as some Championship games.
Although sportingbet.com hasn’t offered any statistics I have found some that will help me analyze the games and give you something to bet on tonight. Of course if you already have something in mind, just compare with I will be talking about 
. According to sportingbet.com there should be a game from Europa League today, but I am guessing that’s some kind of mistake because the league doesn’t resume until the 18th.

Hull City v Chelsea : Obviously we will not be looking for a winner here, be cause if you are betting against Chelsea, would be too much of a risk and if you are betting for Chelsea the odds are not worth it, unless you are happy with BetFair.com’s 1.28 as of 15:40 GMT and that there are 348,240$ total matched bets on them.
Seems like Chelsea had a problem with Hull in the beginning of the season, when the game ended almost a draw, but Drogba was able to score in the 90th minute and bring the victory to Chelsea. Hull has been struggling the past 5 games at home resulting in 3 ties, 1 victory and 1 loss. Chelsea hasn’t done great playing away as well, 2 draw games, 1 victory and 1 loss in their last 4 games away in the EPL.
However in order to get farther from Man United, they do need the win. As of now the bet I am most favorable for is “Would both team score?” and Betfair.com offering 2.2 for an “Yes”.
Another good bet would be Half Time/Full Time Draw/Chelsea with the odds of 4.7. And last one I stopped my eyes on was 0-0 Half Time with the odds of 3.75.
I would personally stick with the first bet and go with both teams will score in the game today.
Preston v Barnsley: The first Championship game today is between these two teams. Preston going strong the last 3 rounds at home, resulting in 2 wins and a draw against Derby County. Barnsley on the other hand doing horrible away with 2 losses, a draw and a win. The direct games result in 4 wins for Preston, 2 draw games and 2 losses.
Although it seems that either of these teams can go home with the 3 points, looking over the current shape of both teams I would conclude that Preston has the greater chance. My pick would be a home win for Preston @ 1.96 in Betfair.com for now.
Watford FC vs Sheffield Utd: The other game from Championship today. Looking over their previous games between these two, seems Sheffield Utd has the advantage with 6 wins, 2 ties and 2 losses. In fact Watford hasn’t won over them in the past 3 years. Sheffield Utd has a shot to get in the play offs this year for a place in Premiership, and to do that they have to keep winning from now on.
My prediction for this game would be an away victory for Sheffield Utd, over the 18th in the table Watford, odds @ Betfair.com 2.74 as for now.
