Round 4 of the English Premier League, where a lot of interesting games are awaiting us.

Everton started the season awfully gathering only one point in three games. The team lost both away games against Aston Villa and Blackburn with 0:1, 0:1 and tied their home game against Wolverhampton 1:1.

However, the Toffees are unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League matches at Goodison Park, winning nine of the last 11. Another interesting fact is that Everton have drawn 99 Premier League games at Goodison Park in Premier League history.

The last three home games against Manchester United, in this stage of the league(first few rounds) the Toffees have lost them all with 0:1 and 0:2.

Meanwhile United started the season well, winning the Comminuty Shield Cup against Chelsea and winning their first game against Newcastle, followed by a draw against Fulham as visitor, where the victory slipped away in the 90th minute (2:2) and a victory against West Ham with 3:0 at home.

United are taking the 3rd spot at the moment, tied up with Arsenal with 7pts. First is Chelsea with 9 and a perfect record of 3 victories. United has been a goal machine in the past 23 games, in fact only one team (Blackburn) has stopped Man Utd from scoring in their last 23 Premier League matches.

Here’s another interesting fact: Man Utd have beaten Everton more times than any team has beaten any other in Premier League history (27 times).

Knowing that United needs a win to keep up with Chelsea and Arsenal, and that Everton needs at least a point to move up from the red zone, is a guarantee for a very interesting game. I think however that United will be the better team here and will finally break Toffee’s record of 13 games unbeaten at home.

The Betting Verdict?

Manchester United to win @ 1.92 (Register at Betfair.com – 25£ Sign up Bonus): Although it will be a difficult game, seems like Everton hasn’t reached optimal shape yet, while Rooney is building momentum with a goal from penalty against West Ham and a goal for England recently. The odds are great for United, and they seem quite possible to come true.
