Everton v Manchester United: Toffees to earn draw against vulnerable United
Tip #1: Back a draw at 12/5 with Unibet
Tip #2: Back Over 3.5 goals at 28/13 with Unibet
Even at this early stage in the season this could be a make or break week for Manchester United in the title race. After their incredible 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday, United are now five points behind their rivals and face a tricky trip to Goodison Park to face Everton in order to stay in touch with the league leaders.
Match Preview
Everton are coming off their first win in four games in the league and will be confident of taking something off the vulnerable visiting side. Unibet are still favourites with the bookmakers and Unibet offer them at 4/5 while an Everton win is 7/2 and a draw priced at 12/5.
This Saturday will tell us a lot about this Manchester United team and their supposed title credentials. They had started the season in brilliant form but over the last few weeks performances have dipped and results have not gone their way. This all culminated last weekend with their embarrassing defeat to their neighbours. United may have had a man sent off but they were second best on the day to a City team who looked much sharper and who were much more clinical in front of goal.
If United can bounce back with a win at Goodison Park it would be an excellent result and a statement that this team is able to defend its Premier League crown. However, this ground hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for United over the past few seasons and they will find it tough to take all three points from Merseyside.

United have not won at Goodison Park since September 2007 while their away form in recent Premier League away matches hasn’t been great and they have drawn their last two. Also Everton will be hoping to kick on and secure more points after their 3-1 win at Fulham last weekend. David Moyes will know that United are not at their best at the moment and will be looking to catch them out while they are still reeling from their defeat last Sunday.
Prediction
In the betting for the game, it’s hard to pick United with the way they are playing at the moment and their recent history at Goodison Park suggests Everton are at least good for a draw. At 12/5 with Unibet, backing the draw seems very attractive.
Another bet for Saturday is to back over 3.5 goals at 28/13 with Unibet. In both fixtures the last two seasons at Goodison Park, the games have had four goals or more.
