The brilliant Everton, that struggled quite a lot in the beginning of the season, has finally reached an optimal shape and hasn’t lost any of the last 10 games.
The team was going well up, and had probably a pretty good chance to get in the sweet spots, if there were two three rounds left till the end of the season.
A home record of 10 wins 6 draws and 2 losses speak for their shape. In the same time, Portsmouth went on the other direction, going into administration and will play next year in Championship.
However the season was quite good for them in terms of FA cup, where they have reached the final, and will play against Chelsea on Wembley. I am not sure if what the media says is true, but usually the winner of FA Cup get the right to play in Europa League.
What to expect from this game?
I am expecting Everton to show once again their brilliant shape, while Portsmouth to use some of the reserves and let the starters rest before the final, which is a lot more important than this game.
A victory for Everton with a good amount of goals will be a logical bet here.
