France faces the ultimate challenge Brazil in a friendly game on Wednesday.
French manager is optimistic, after the good performance on Wembley and the victory over England with 2:1. Here’s a part of Laurent Blanc’s interview:
“As a player, you don’t have many opportunities to face Brazil in your career,” Blanc said.
“They are one of the two best teams in the world. It’s going to be difficult. Brazil have a multitude of good players.”
“To measure oneself against the best is the best way to make progress. It will be a good gauge.”
Patrice Evra is left out from the team, while Lyon’s Yoann Gourcuff, Girondins Bordeaux’s Alou Diarra have been called despite the poor performance for the French national team. Brazil will come out without Kaka who was left out despite his recent return in Real Madrid, along with Lucio and Maicon from Inter.

Although Brazil is the favorite for this game, the French team has transformed its face. The good match they played against England, and the many absent players from Brazil gives me the hope that in this friendly game France can show their true potential and grab the victory.
