No Barclays Premier League today, because of the the FA Cup games today. Hopefully we will see some good quality football today. Be sure to include these picks in your betting slip today.
First let’s take a look at what games will be played today one of which starts very soon:
Chelsea v Cardiff 13/02/2010 12:00 GMT
Southampton v Portsmouth 13/02/2010 12:30 GMT
Derby v Birmingham 13/02/2010 15:00 GMT
Reading v West Bromwich 13/02/2010 15:00 GMT
Manchester City v Stoke 13/02/2010 17:15 GMT
Chelsea v Cardiff: Chelsea meets the team from Championship Cardiff. These two teams haven’t ever played against each other and it will be hard to predict an outcome. Although Chelsea is a total favorite in this game with odds around 1.16 in Betfair.com
Seriously if you are going to play this game look for the surprise here in my opinion. Why? Because Chelsea is now tied for points with Manchester United, and United being out of the FA cup have one thing less to worry. So when you think about it logically, don’t you feel like Chelsea doesn’t need an extra tournament to participate in and having a tough schedule in February, plus the games from the Champions League.
My prediction would be a draw game here with the odds of 9.60, which I think are worth it.
Southampton v Portsmouth : Looking over the stats of these two teams, makes me wonder what will happen to Portsmouth. You are probably aware of the fact that they are in debt and will probably go bankrupt in the end of this month. Also looking over the stats, Southampton has won all games at home which makes it a logical pick for today.
My prediction a home win for Southampton with odds on Betfair.com @ 3.15 as of now.
Derby v Birmingham: These two teams have played a few games between each other. However Derby doesn’t have a win at home against Birmingham. They seem to be in a good shape beating Newcastle with 3:0 the last round of Championship, but can they do this today vs Birmingham.
Birmingham is doing great this year, and can really keep on adding to their great performance by continuing for the next round of FA Cup. Birmingham as tied only 2 games and won the other 4. I think it’s a good way to go with the away win here @ 2.30.
Reading v West Bromwich : These two seems to have played a few games but whoever is at home seems to win. WBA are currently in a great shape and will most likely play in Premier League next year if they keep up the shape. Reading are in the red zone but beat Liverpool to qualify for this round, so they are not to be underestimated.
My prediction a home victory for Reading @ 2.98 at the moment.
Manchester City v Stoke: This is the last FA cup of the day. As you might be aware so far Manchester City has no loss at home in Premier League. Two games against stoke in Premier League, two wins with 2:0 and 3:0. Looking over the chances of Man City to get to the 4th sport, I think they have a better chance winning the FA cup than placing in the Top4.
Stoke, not much to say, they are a good team but an away record of 1 win 6 draws and 5 losses, shows instability and lack of power when visiting. Anyways my predictions for this game would be a draw @ 4.10
Thanks for visiting once again today, I hope you enjoy the games! Good luck with your bets, let’s wish ourselves today a very profitable day on the 13th
