Great games yesterday. I am particularly happy about my correct prediction about that Everton’s home win against Manchester United.
The odds were great, and the game was very dramatic, especially when United scored the first goal.
I am also angry at Portsmouth for scoring first and then letting Stoke to beat them in the 91st minute.
I think nothing can save them now and they will not be playing in Premiership next year.
Today’s games seem better for football betting since the odds are much better, plus we have a direct battle for the 4th spot. So let’s take a look at the matches for today:
Blackburn v Bolton 21/02/2010 12:00 GMT
Aston Villa v Burnley 21/02/2010 14:00 GMT
Fulham v Birmingham 21/02/2010 15:00 GMT
Manchester City v Liverpool 21/02/2010 15:00 GMT
Wigan v Tottenham 21/02/2010 16:15 GMT
Blackburn v Bolton: The teams have played in this formation 9 times, from which Blackburn has only 2 win, 4 draw games and 3 losses, so obviously the game can go either way. Blackburn with a home record of 7 wins 4 draws and 2 losses, Bolton with an away record of 2 wins 3 draws and 7 losses.
Bolton seems to have lost 3 out of all 3 away games but they were against the top teams like Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City. Currently they are in the red zone and need the points.
Blackburn on the other hand is doing well at home, 3 wind and 1 tie in 4 home games. Looking over the history seems like Bolton is a tough competitor so my prediction would be an away victory for Bolton, the odds @Betfair are 4.10 as for now.
Aston Villa v Burnley: Not a lot to day for this game. Burnley as usual very strong at home, got a point from the first game between the two. A home record for Villa of 6 wins 5 draws and 2 losses isn’t something impressive, but an away record for Burnley of 0 wins 1 draw and 12 losses speaks for itself.
Although the odds are not great, my prediction would be for a home victory @ 1.41 in Betfair.com
Fulham v Birmingham: 7 visit for the team from Birmingham, 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Fulham with a home record of 8 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses is looking good, Birmingham with an away record of 4 wins 2 draws and 6 losses.
Seems like both Fulham and Birmingham depend on home victories for gaining points, so my prediction would be a home win for Fulham, odds of 2.14 in Betfair.
Manchester City v Liverpool: Probably the game of the night. The direct battle for the 4th spot, city with a match less. City’s home record the impressive 9 wins 3 draws and 0 losses. Liverpool looking horrible with an away record of 4 wins 3 draw games and 6 losses.
City has won all of their home games in the premiership this year and would most likely go for the win here today as well. I am sure they are aware of the importance of the game today, and would do everything to get the 3 points. Liverpool with disappointed visits, loosing to Arsenal 0:1, and drawing with Stoke City 1:1 and Wolverhampton 0:0.
My prediction for today would be a logical home victory for Man City, odds of 2.96 in Betfair.
Wigan v Tottenham: Ouch, aren’t Wigan terrified to see Tottenham again, after the away loss with 9:1. Tottenham with an away record of 4 wins 5 draws and 4 losses, Wigan with a home record of 3 wins 5 draws and 4 losses.
Tottenham has had 4 visits, each team has taken a victory and 2 draw games in between. My prediction for today would be a draw game, based on the stats, odds of 3.60 in Betfair.com
Thanks for reading today as well, good luck with your bets, and have a wonderful day.
