Fulham

Fulham lost the final of Europa League in season 2009-10 to Atletico Madrid, but was remembered with their outstanding performance. The team did not participate last year, but returns this season. However they faced Benfica and after a 2:2 in the first leg, Twente lost the second one with 1:3 and was sent down to Europa League. The team did somewhat well last year here reaching the quarter-finals, but getting knocked out with quite the score (aggregate 2-8).

Prediction

Fulham has always been a good host, and so far are unbeaten in this campaign recording 6 victories and 2 draws. Of course perhaps none of the teams were on Twente’s level but still it’s a good warm up.

Their home statistics in the past 20 games in Europe reads the following W16 D4 L0, you do the math. In the same time Twente’s away record for the past 4 away matches in Europe reads, W0 D1 L3, which pretty much leaves us with only one option of betting and that’s the home victory.
