Since then Messi and company have been doing great. This is the final game that will decide the outcome of the group. Qualifying first in this group will mean for Argentina, that if Brazil tops their group, the only place they can meet is the final.
Greece on the other corner is full of hope, despite the bad odds. Greece coach Rehhagel is certain that Argentina isn’t a threat only because of Messi, but because of at least 10 other factors. He says they understand the importance of this game, and will put an effort to come on top.
Although Greece started slowly with a loss against South Korea, and then loosing with 1:0 from Nigeria, but turning the score around to 1:2.
What’s to expect from this match?
It’s no brainer for anyone that Argentina will try to dominate this game as well. Maradona isn’t a coach who will be satisfied with a mediocre play just because his team has already qualified.
I am expecting a lot of attacks, a lot of individual breaks if Messi comes out to play. If Maradona is a good tactic, he will give a rest to his most important players and put them in the game ONLY if something goes wrong.
Greece will have to take the risk and try playing offensive. They have nothing to loose here since they would most likely need a win or a draw and the outcome of the other game to qualify.
