The clash between Jorge Valdano and Jose Mourinho has come to an end, after president Perez let’s Valdano go on Wednesday May 25th 2011
Jorge Valdano, is an Argentinian former football player, a director general in Real Madrid from 2009 until yesterday. The reason for getting sacked? Previous scandals with Jose Mourinho, creating a discomfort in the club, and the need for internal restructure.
After the dismissal, for a new director general was appointed, French legend Zinedine Zidane.
The new changes will give the Special One, more power over the decisions made in the club, something Mou has been asking for, since his arrival. Whether this would have a positive impact on the club, we shall wait and see next season.
