It has happened!!! The new owners of Manchester City FINALLY, got tired of waiting for Mark Hughes to make the team work well and start winning easily, after letting him spent close to 250,000,000 pounds on transfers!
The official website of the team, has announced that the current coach is already replaced by the Italian Roberto Mancini and he will lead the Citizens immediately. So let’s see how this is going to work! Would this finally give the boost that Manchester City needed? The season is still ahead, if this change happens to be successful, they still have a chance to get in the Top 4 teams.
What seems odd is that the Citizens start out great in the beginning of the game, but then somewhere in the middle loose control of the ball and allow goals to be scored in their goal. I am not sure if the coach is the problem or a stronger defense….. After all they bought quite few strikers and midfielders and what like one defender?
What do you think? How do you think this would affect them in the next few games? How about until the end of the season? What happens next, if City keeps on loosing, despite the coach change? Another coach change?
Let’s me just add here that Liverpool lost today again! Perhaps their owners should take a look at what Man City is doing, and do the same? Cause from what it seems they will miss Champions League and Europa League next year! Hell I am not sure if they are gonna make the top half of the table!
So let’s review what happened today! United and Liverpool lost their games, Arsenal,City, Tottenham and Villa all won, and City fired Mark Hughes and took Roberto Mancini! What a day eh? Looking forward to, tomorrow’s games for sure! Chelsea has now the chance to get even a bigger lead!
On the sports channel the commentators said that sir Alex Ferguson would probably want to buy few defenders in the winter transfer window! Does United really need more defenders?
