Manchester City faces Reading in the last of the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
First off, congratulations to Reading for being the only team from the Championship that made it so far into the tournament, eliminating two Premiership teams on their way. Their first game in this tournament was against West Bromwich at home, a match won with the minimal 1:0. Followed a game against the surprise Stevenage( the team that eliminated Newcastle with 3:1). Reading had no problems in that game winning it 2:1 as a visitor.
In their last game before the quarter finals Reading visited Everton, a game won again with the minimal 1:0. Now comes even bigger challenge Manchester City. Manchester City replayed two of the games, first against Leicester, and then against Notts, but won over Aston Villa in the previous round with the classic 3:0. Now the team has a chance to be a host again which gives them the advantage and makes them the favorite here.

Earlier this week Man City has a game against Dynamo Kiev for the Europa League, a game lost in Ukraine with 0:2. City would want to bounce back here with a victory for sure, and secure their advance in the semi finals.
It’s expected that Balotelli will most likely miss the game, while Carlos Tevez and Nigel de Jong might show up but that’s also not on 100% true. James Milner is also injured ( hamstring ) and will not play.
Even without few key players City has enough replacements to make a second team. Maybe that’s why they have odds of 1.40 to win this game.
Personally I would back Reading in this game, since the team has made it this far, and would be a pleasant surprise if they reach the semi finals and why not the finals. The odds are great as well priced at 8.00. However we all have seen that Manchester City plays extremely well at home and scores a lot, even against Aston Villa. This is why probably the safest bet would be Over X amount of goals. The Over 3.0 Goals seems good enough, quality odds and if there are only 3 goals in the game your wager will be refunded.
