Manchester United v Benfica: Expect a close win for the Red Devils
Tip #1: Back Man United to win 1-0 at 6/1 with Unibet
Tip #2: Back both teams not to score at 5/6 with Unibet
Manchester United welcome Benfica to Old Trafford in the Champions League this Tuesday. Both sides are level at the top of Group C with eight points each from four games. United will need the three points here if they are to give themselves a chance at securing top spot and an easier opponent in the last-16.
Match Preview
Unibet make Man United odds-on favourites for the tie at 5/11 while a Benfica win is 6/1 and a draw offered at 13/4.
United pick up a 1-0 over Swansea at the weekend to keep up the pressure on Man City in the Premier League title race. It was their third win-in-row but it was a far from convincing performance by the Red Devils.
Javier Hernandez gave Sir. Alex Ferguson’s side the lead early on but United struggled to control the game and Swansea dominated possession with over 70%. In midfield United were once again poor, lacking creativity and composure on the ball, while upfront they did not look that threatening in attack.

After drawing their first two matches in this group against Benfica and Basel, United have won two on the bounce against Otelul Galati. They will, however, need to step up their performance if they are to see off Benfica on Tuesday and head into their final game away to Basel top of the group.
Benfica are currently second in the Portuguese league just behind Porto on goal-difference. They drew 1-1 away to Sporting Braga at the weekend but are yet to lose a game domestically this season.
They sit second in Group C and are coming off a 1-1 draw at home to Basel. If they want to make it to the knockout rounds as group winners they will have to probably get something out of this game.
Prediction
Playing at home United should really get the win here but with the way they have been playing it could be a close one. A 1-0 victory to the Red Devils is offered at 6/1 with Unibet and if the game ends 0-0 the betting firm will refund your correct score bet.
United haven’t conceded a goal in their last five matches in all competitions and the defence is the only part of the team playing at a high-level. They should be able to keep Benfica scoreless which means backing both teams not to score looks like a good wager at 5/6 with Unibet.
