Tip #2: Back the match to end Under 2.5 Goals at 17/20 with Unibet.
It’s Europa League time once again for Spurs which means manager Harry Redknapp is likely to trot out his reserves for the team’s fixture against Rubin Kazan. Spurs are already top of Group A with seven points after three games while Rubin Kazan are back in third with four points.
Match Preview
It will be a difficult trip for Spurs heading to Russia and the bookmakers have installed the home side as favourites. Unibet offer Rubin Kazan at 11/17 for the win while Spurs are at 4/1 and a draw offered at 13/5.
Spurs are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and are climbing ever closer to the top-four and the Champions League places. Getting back into Europe’s premier club competition is Redknapp’s priority this season and this is why he teams consist of reserve players when the Europa League rolls around.
So far they have done well and are coming off a 1-0 victory over Rubin Kazan at White Hart Lane just a couple of weeks ago. It was a good game between both sides and each threatened the others goal in an attacking match-up.
The squad players that made up the Spurs side were by no means weak and there were players in the starting-11 with quality such as Roman Pavlyuchenko, Jermaine Defoe and Aaron Lennon. The side for the trip to Russia might not be as strong but they will still give their opponents a competitive game.

Rubin Kazan are currently sixth in the Russian League heading into the last game of the season. They are just outside of the qualification places for Europe so it will have been a disappointing season for the club unless they can advance in the Europa League.
They haven’t been great in this campaign, drawing at home with PAOK, beating Shamrock Rovers and then losing at White Hart Lane. They should, however, raise their game for the arrival of Spurs on Thursday as they know a win would put them back in contention to top the group.
Prediction
It would be a big ask for the Spurs reserve team to go to Russia and get the win so it is a choice between backing the home win or a draw. Rubin haven’t been that strong at home in recent European competition and they have won just one of their last four games at home. PAOK went and got a 2-2 draw against them in Russia back in the second game of the group and Spurs should be well capable of matching that result.
