There have been a lot of rumors lately, to whether Sir Alex Ferguson will retire from the post manager of Manchester United.
Lots of replacement names have been brought up, a lot of retirement dates have been posted, but Fergie said it once and for all that he has no intentions to retire.
The sixty nine years old Scottish manager even jokes, saying “Retirement is for young people”. “I’m too old to retire. I would have nothing to do. As long as my health is good I will carry on. My family will make this decision”
When Ferguson takes over Manchester United in 1986, he says that he is determined to surpass Liverpool and the amount of title they have. At that time no one took him seriously, but here it is some 25 years later, United has already won 18 titles, and has a chance this year to set the record of 19 titles won by a single team.
Fergie confirmed that even if that happens he will keep leading the team.
