The final clash in the round of sixteen, will meet two of the biggest names in the European football, Spain and Portugal.

There’s no real comparison between these two teams. Both of them are equally good and the better one will win tonight.

Spain started stressing, especially for their fans when they lost the first game against Switzerland with 0:1. After the first game and the shock, Spain was able to find the right rhythm and won the game against Honduras with 2:0 and against Chile with 2:1.

Tonight Xabi Alonso is likely to miss the game with an ankle sprain, which will leave the Spanish team with a little bit less creativity, however the team has enough stars to pull this game off.

Portugal on the other hand, tied a hard game against Ivory Coast, and an even harder with Brazil, and destroyed North Korea with 7:0. The team remained unbeaten, and will go out tonight determined to advance.

What’s to expect in this game?

Quality, Speed, Beauty. These are the worlds that come to my mind when I see these two teams. Let’s hope we will see a spectacular game tonight. You can’t really talk about a domination by either team. Both teams will either try to outsmart each other, or go in offensive formats and try to outscore each other.

For us the fans, the better option will be the second one.

The Betting Verdict

David Villa To Score at any time @ 2.34 (Betfair.com) : Well given his record at this tournament (two goals in three games) and in international games (41 in 61 appearances) you should really consider this bet a valuable one.
