Wow, what a wonderful game, we were able to witness tonight! Both City and United gave everything they could, so we could enjoy this game as much as possible. With Manchester United opening with the first goal, the game got really interesting.
The man of the match tonight is definitely Carlos Tevez, who scored two goals and brought the victory to city. After all of the scandals around his transfer he was finally able to get back even at United with these two goals. Perhaps you noticed the little gesture he made, after he scored the penalty, and he wanted to say “keep talking now”.
Although it was debatable whether the fall against Craig Belamy was outside or inside the box, I leave those decisions to the referee and will not argue. The second goal was also brilliant, showing that Tevez, will be one of the top strikers this year.Personally I think United made a mistake by selling him and keeping Berbatov. A lot of professional opinions lead to the same conclusion.
I am sure we all anticipate the next game on Old Trafford, to see who will qualify for the final, and who will have to leave the tournament. Congratulations once again to Manchester City, their fans, and Carlos Tevez, for the brilliant performance tonight!
