Every football gambler needs one thing, once his bets are placed, but unfortunately he can’t watch his game. That thing is a reliable site with livescores, where he can follow his games.

Here’s the list that E-sportbets has reviewed and recommends. Remember that there is no “The Best” site. Whatever makes you happy, and whatever you like is the right choice, but before you make up your mind check out some information about each website.

Livescore.com

Livescore.com

Probably the first site that comes to anyone’s mind or on the search result when you type the keyword “livescore”. What can I say about them, I used to follow my games there, but the feed seems rather slow.

Compared to some of the sites below the difference can sometimes reach 1-2 minutes which I find unsatisfying and if you need your scores NOW, and now 3 minutes later I suggest you skip this page.

Design wise, the site is excellent and it runs well even on the old PC here a Celeron on 900mhz with 128 Ram. I am not sure how well would the page load on dial up since we have here 50mbps fiber optic.

Every football punter wants to be able to set their own time-zone in the livescore site they are using. However I can’t really see anywhere on this site where you can do that, thus making it hard to understand what time the games start. Supposedly the site is trying to pick up your local time from your settings, but with summer time the values change and it becomes pretty inaccurate.

Livescore.in

Livescore.com

Simple design, although I am not a fan of the dark green, but it’s more about of personal preference. The time manner in which the results are delivered seems all right and that’s definitely a plus.

You can set your local time zone, in the left sidebar, which is very convenient and a must have for any serious livescore site.

Offering also odds comparison, although by the time you are watching the games you might not need this feature anymore.

A light site overall, easily loadable on new and old machines, so you have a green light to use it if you like it.

Livescores247.com

Livescore.com

This site is definitely not light, and it usually asks me to wait around 10 seconds before everything loads. On the old PC it’s even longer and sometimes when there are more games it might even not load.

While the script is very customizable not being able to set your time-zone is aggravating. The script again auto-detects it, and it’s as usual wrong. How hard is to let us football fans set our own zone?

The site offers sounds on events, but it’s quite hard to detect who scored where, as the only indication is the team’s goals turn red instead of blue. When you are following many games, it’s quite hard to detect what’s happening.

Xscores.com

Livescore.com

Very simple and light design, runs well on every machine you can imagine. You are able to set your own timezone, although at first you might not see how. You just have to click on the timezone link and then from the new window that pops, pick the zone you would like.

No sound on events! If you like watching a game on the tv, but in the same time following other games on the PC, perhaps you should choose a site with sounds so you can easily know when someone scores.

Flashscore.com

Livescore.com

Good looking site, however a little bit heavy. The old machine kind of chokes on it, for a while before everything is displayed.

Time-zone is customizable from the left sidebar, the site is also offering bet365.com’s odds which I know a lot of you play on, so can come in handy.

Again no sound on event, so it’s not that great if you are following the games away from the monitor. But apart from this the site is great.

Scorespro.com

Livescore.com

As most sites in this category well designed, but again I find the red too much “in your eyes” when it comes to sites.

Supports sound on events which is good, although it’s not the best sound in the world you would hear while watching a game on the TV.

No support for changing your timezone which sucks, since I don’t want to be calculating at what local time the game would start. If you don’t offer this feature the competition does, as simple as that.

The script is trying to locate my time, but since we changed to summer time now all games are -1 hr behind. This is why it’s a better idea to let each user choose their own zone.

Futbol24.com

Livescore.com

This is what we have been using for quite a while now. Why? Because it offers everything a football punter would want.

While it tries to detect your local time, it gives you the ability to change it right above your score from a drop down menu.

Sound on event, in fact you can choose from 2-3 types of sounds, but we use the default one, which can be heard, even when the TV seems loud.

This is probably the fastest feed you would ever use. Most of my friends and known associates use some of the above sites above, and while we communicate over Skype or the phone I am always the first one to hear the change. So if you are looking for speed this is the site.

The only downside is, the script is quite heavy. Even on my personal computer, and I wont mention how hard is for the Celeron to handle it.

I suggest you give it a try, to check how well it runs on your pc. If you have no problem, then this is the site to go with.
