Tip #1: Back Over 2.5 goals at 4/5 with Unibet
Tip #2: Back Mario Gomez to be first goalscorer at 23/4 with Unibet
In a game shown live on Unibet TV, the top two in Group A clash on Friday night as Germany travel to Istanbul to take on Turkey. Germany have already qualified for next summer’s Euro 2012 after storming their way through the group with a 10 point lead, while Turkey are just two points head of Belgium in third and they need the points to secure a playoff spot.
Unibet make Germany the favourites at 15/13 in the match odds while a Turkey victory is 40/17 and a draw also priced at 40/17.
Match Preview
This German side has been very impressive so far in this qualification campaign, winning every single group game they have played. They have accumulated a massive 24 points, only matched by Holland in Group E, and look certain to be among the favourites for the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
Coach Joachim Low has assembled a very strong, young national side which looks to be the most talented for quite some time. Littered throughout the side are established stars such as Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Ozil and Manuel Neuer, who are then accompanied by new prospects such as promising midfielder Mario Gotze of Borussia Dortmund. So far, they have scored an incredible 28 goals and conceded just five which just also highlights how much they have dominated this group.
Turkey suffered a disappointing 0-0 draw in their last game against Austria and will need to take something from this game to still claim a place in the playoffs. They have taken 14 points from eight games which is a good haul but they need to put some distance between themselves and Belgium who are creeping up on them from third. Turkey’s home form so far in this campaign has been good and they have won every game in Istanbul. They face their biggest test yet in Germany on Friday and it will be interesting to see if they can get the win once again.

Prediction
With Germany already qualified, it might be tempting for the coach to rest some players and try just ease through this game. However, there is still enough quality in this German side to get the win and it is hard to have total confidence in Turkey. The best bet for Friday night would be to back over 2.5 goals at 4/5 with Unibet. Turkey have already scored seven goals in their recent three qualifying games at home while the Germans have been one of the most prolific scorers of the campaign so far.
Also in the first goalscorer market, back Mario Gomez at 23/4 with Unibet. Gomez has hit four goals in qualifying while he has netted eight times in seven games for Bayern Munich this season. If the game finishes 0-0, Unibet will refund your first goalscorer losing stake in full.
