For Bigger Wins Bet in Betfair.com

Have you ever done the following: You are looking through statistics about a game you want to bet on. You make up your mind on a wager you want to place and you think there’s a pretty good chance that it will come true.

But then, to be even more sure you go around reading opinions, different point of views and you suddenly start to change your mind. In the end, you go with the higher odds or whatever and you switch your initial pick. Later on you are kicking yourself for switching it as your initial choice was correct, and the ones you actually played wrong.

So here’s a tip: Always and always stick with your first choice and forget about everything else! Why, you would ask? Well your first choice is based purely on your own opinion, and the information you have gathered. It’s just like in school, once you were a student. I know I had done this, to write the correct answer, but then scratch it and write a different one. I am sure everyone can relate to that in one or another situation. It’s almost the identical when you are placing bets on football games.

Once you have made up your mind, reading more opinions and different predictions, will just blur your mind and will make you believe you neglected something. In some cases this might be true, but that’s not the point, the point is you get in the habit to depend on your own. This way if you lose you know who to blame.

I will give you a recent example, I was looking at the statistic for England v Bulgaria, and 7 out of the 8 games both teams had played ended Under 2.5 Goals, and most sites were giving out predictions based on that statistics, hence Under 2.5 Goals. I neglected the common opinion, and went with Over 2.5 Goals, just because it’s a different year, different teams and I believe England can do well. The game came, England won with 4:0, and I had it right.

On another occasion, last night, most predictions read, Bosnia – France, a win for France, but I had made up my mind that Bosnia had what it takes to win. Apparently I was wrong, but I don’t regret it, since it was my own decision and my own prediction.

So fellow bettors, trust your initial choice and back it up,even if you are wrong you are building a healthy habit, to trust yourself.
